Lynn Ford, 37, of Hyde Park recently won the Over 35 Model Search and is on the December and January cover of "Cincinnati In-Touch Magazine". Mitchell's Salon and Day Spa and Cincinnati In-Touch Magazine organize it.

Vivian Moore, Mitchell's managing vice president and lead stylist for Mitchell's photo shoots, was the judge for the Model Search. Moore said choosing a winner was hard because more than 400 women entered the search.

Lynn Ford received a professional photo shoot, complementary hair and makeup services and is featured on Mitchell's area billboards.

Supermodel Rachel Hunter is trying to change the way people think when they see those ultra-slim, ultra-fit figures.

Hunter has teamed up with the Slim-Fast diet-aid company to put the brakes on body-image issues. It's a problem faced not only by the general public, but also by her modeling colleagues.

"The fashion industry is the fashion industry - you are going to find some very slim girls in it," said Hunter, who has been promoting positive body images through Slim-Fast's "Find Your Slim" campaign.
